Trucks on Fire
Burning trucks are something we see all the time. If a truck gets disabled for whatever reason, (IED, RPG, Mortars, Small arms fire, or just simply breaks
down) a lot of the time we have to leave it behind. If you sit for too long, especially with a convoy of trucks, people start shooting and dropping mortars on us.
Once we leave it, the locals start to loot it. If someone doesn't come along fast enough, they will set it on fire.
In this case, these trucks were hit by RPGs. It was a pretty big ambush, and the rest of the convoy got the hell out there, with a little help from our gun trucks. The drivers survived and jumped in other trucks. Within minutes, the trucks were engulfed in flames.
