ROK Army
The Republic of Korea has sent troops to join the coalition of forces helping to rebuild Iraq. My Platoon had the distinct honor or escorting the ROK soldiers to their duty station in Iraq. I have to say, the Republic of Korea (that's South Korea, in case you're wondering) is my new favorite country. Here I'm posing with a handful of ROK Special Forces. The ROK Army is extremely disciplined and professional, these guys more so than most.
Even though they are extremely effective professional soldiers, they are also very funny and can often be silly, if you can believe that. It was a pleasure working with them.
