Y
y tu mama tambien
director: alfonso cuaron
See this movie but don't bring tu mama with you. This alternately funny, sad, practically soft core film is about two boys who run off with a married bombshell en Mexico but surprise - it is not the coming of age you expect from the description.

yes
director: sally potter
Yes, yes, oh yes, I was pulled into this lyrical love story born from hate and in the end quite moved. I think this is the kind of movie that you'll either like or not like, but either way, you'll probably like the title.

you can count on me
director: kenneth lonergan
There is a familiar sadness that permeates every frame of
this film, a very effective tale of a a hardworking single
mother and her aimless brother. Things move at a slow
deliberate pace, every scene feels like it's there for a reason,
making this one of the strongest, best written films of the
year.
