Too tired to form many words about this, but I made the trek down to NY to see the 2 best bands Boston has ever produced last night. All the reports I had heard pretty much consisted of one word: "Fat." They forgot to mention "bald," however. Except for Kim Deal. She still has all her hair. And she's no bigger than she ever was. It's pretty much just Black Francis/Frank Black/Charles Whatisname who's ballooned up. Not that it matters at all. They still tore the roof off the sucker, so to speak. All hits all the time. The Hammerstien Ballroom sucks ass, though. Way too big and crappy beer costs $7.00. Jeepers.
