Crossed Scimitars
We had to take a little detour through the heart of Baghdad one day. Here's my team in front of the famous crossed swords of Baghad. You can't make it out in this picture, but there are Iranian helmets embedded in the road beneath the swords. The helmets were war prizes the Iraqis claimed during the Iran / Iraq war. Whenever the Iraqi Army was on review, they would march across the helmets of the dead Iranians. Smithers was in the turret that day, so I'm the tall guy on the left.
