Last week was my friends' birthday. When we were out celebrating, I found out, she does not own a vibrator. Never has. All I can think is how could this girl be celebrating her dirty 30's without a reliable toy by her side - HOW? That is just un-American. I am sorry to burst the bubble of all those people who do not live in New York City but us single girls really DO NOT live our lives like those on Sex in the City. At least my friends don't so when you can't get a date you always can go home to your toys. Last night we met for a drink and I brought along a new "friend." Once it was out of the brown bag, the whole table next to us joined our conversation. "Oh my - is that a vibe?", "You got this as a birthday gift?", "What a special gift!" Actually it was all very funny and we laughed and laughed and laughed. I haven't heard from the birthday girl since. I hope she is having fun.
