sunshine jen: Dolphins Speak!
Recently, scientists in Russia have recorded sophisticated dolphin conversation.
At the Sunshine Jen Oceanic Exploratory Society (S Joes), we have worked with various communications experts and Klingon speakers to translate what the dolphins are actually saying to each other.
Transcript:
Dolphin One: Hello.
Dolphin Two: Hello.
Dolphin One: The fish are over there.
Dolphin Two: Any good?
Dolphin One: A bit salty but all right.
Dolphin Two: I don't mind the salt.
Dolphin One: I love being a dolphin.
Dolphin Two: I love being a dolphin too.
Dolphin One: Lately I've been pondering my existence, but then I decided, screw it, I'm a dolphin.
Dolphin Two: Why do we exist?
Dolphin One: Doesn't matter we're dolphins. I love being a dolphin.
Dolphin Two: I love being a dolphin too.
Dolphin One: What's that?
Dolphin Two: Looks like humans.
Dolphin One: Why do they have so much stuff on?
Dolphin Two: I don't know. Breathe!
Dolphin One: Breathe! (pause) I love being a dolphin.
Dolphin Two: I love being a dolphin too.
Dolphin One: What's that metal thing?
Dolphin Two: It appears to be some kind of microphone.
Dolphin One: That's silly. They don't know what we're saying.
Dolphin Two: We've been trying to communicate with them for years. I guess they're just not sophisticated enough for us.
Dolphin One: Silly humans. I love being a dolphin.
Dolphin Two: I love being a dolphin too. Let's go eat some fish.
