This book would not be possible without the aid of Louisa Coolridge who generously provided Sunshine Jen’s early hello kitty diary and Barbie dolls for my inspection as well as Rufus the dog who at the ripe old age of fifteen could still recall with fondness the walks Sunshine Jen took him on.
Even though no one in Sunshine Jen’s inner circle spoke on the record, I must thank publicly Jerry the parking lot attendant who kept accurate records of Sunshine Jen’s parking habits and Tom who attempted to pick up Sunshine Jen at a college party back in 1993. I especially wish to thank Mr. Anonymous who had a drunken one-night stand with Sunshine Jen. Even though his memory of that night was cloudy, he could still recall the sunshineyness of the experience.
