Tropical Depression: La la la, Lana`i
I'll be away for a few days...off to Lana`i to look for tree snails.
The little, gentle, goofy, fragile Partulinas. (I will wax poetic about these darlings another time).
Just me and 3 really cool smart guys in the woods all day, getting muddy and sweaty and eating sardines out of a can on crackers for lunch and sleeping like the dead until Dr. 'Windows 98' rousts us at 5:30 for more.
Lanai doesn't even have street lights.
I am really looking forward to the stars.
