medium pimping: The Antlord
formerly 'le vie c'est tres droll'

Driven to delusion with ennui, I went ahead and decided to experiment with on-line dating.
Whoo baby.
My personal ad is hidden, so don't bother looking for it. I can contact you, but you can't see my ad unless I send you a note first. Sounds safe, right?
So I started having a little interchange with 2 different guys. One I quickly met and found that he looked NOTHING like the cute guy in his picture. The other was funny & flirty on line, but kept his responses to me veiled in relative obscurity. He never really revealed anything about himself, other than the fact that he was taking gymnastics classes, and he was taking way too long to ask me out. Finally, after signing off his emails under various cheeky nomers, he signed off as "Antlord".
I figured maybe this was a reference to some pop cultural event I just don't get or missed or ignored? I let it slide.
Then he signed off again "Antlord".
I asked my tech geek friends if they had ever heard of this name. No one had. I googled it and came up only with a parody version of "Lord of the Dance". So in my next note, I declared that before our correspondence went any further, he would have to explain himself. And did he ever. His response:
"some women are born as men. some men are born as women. some apples are born as peaches. some musics are born as silince. some humans are born as turtles. some ants are born as human. i am an ant trapped in the shell of a human, but since i am larger than any other ant, they call me antlord. i hope this does not scare you as it has so many others. i hope this explanation bodes you well, hot mommma."
Oh yes. I imagine they have internet access in asylums too...
