Nutshell Kingdom: useless wisdom
2003

I suspect emotions are a bit like those bird's nests you would find as a kid. The more you handle it, shake it, toss it like a frisbee -- the sooner it comes undone and is just a scattering of sticks on the ground. Then again, how long does a bird's nest last anyway? And how else are you supposed to know if it can fly like a frisbee? It kind of looked like a frisbee.
