Nutshell Kingdom: st. francis of virginia
2004
i have trained a little bunny in my yard to do tricks.
i don't know how, 'cause i haven't fed him anything.
he runs up to me and stops.
then he runs crazy figure 8 patterns on the grass.
then he runs up to me and stops again.
chews on some leafy grass.
repeat.
i believe that my trick bunny is a boy.
i want to dress him up in a proper suit, like Beatrix Potter.
or put him to bed like in Goodnight Moon.
he was all wet yesterday after a rain and i worry.
he is not one of those mean, quasi-human bunnies from Watership Down.
i will miss him in a week. i will sit sometimes and hope he is doing just fine and wasn't eaten by some cat.
he certainly is fast enough.
