2001:July:13
7.13.2001

Today I went to the doctor. I had a tetanus shot, he listened to my ticker, he shone a light in my eyes, and looked for suspicious moles. You know what I miss? The rubber mallet on the knee. They don't do that anymore.
Today Adam and I have been together for one whole year. Personally, I think that anniversaries are square and contrived (much like the reflex test).
That said, it is important to mark the difference between then and now--to note things like technological advancement or evolution of a specie. One year ago, there was no Adam and now, amazingly, there is. Let's raise a glass to that.
