poop beetle: this morning

This morning the electricity was out. There was wind last night that must have knocked something over. It was about sixty degrees and a little rainy.
We weren't cold and it wasn't pitch black.
We started the day with candle light in the morning which is not the worst thing.
Also, no Nick Jr. this morning, which must have meant conversation. I'd tell you what Awais said, I'm sure it was brilliant and really cute, but I didn't get any coffee until much later, so I have no specific memories, just general impressions.
