Deep in the heart of Texas.
I am off to TEXAS tomorrow and I am so very happy. I am going to Dallas for a hockey getaway weekend. If you happen to be watching the Dallas/Anaheim game (because I know you all will be) on Saturday afternoon I will be sitting 5 rows from the ice in the right hand corner. On Sunday I will be 10 rows from the Avalanche bench when they play the Dallas Stars. WOO HOO I love me that hockey!
I am so looking forward to this trip. Work has been kicking my ass lately. And I haven't gone away since my cousin's wedding last June. I mean I probably should have taken this trip's money and put it toward furniture to my very BARE apartment. But you know, now that the walls are no longer that god awful yellow color I am much happier to just sit here in the lawn chair. I'll have to post photos when I get back and show you the bedroom ... it's a lovely exotic purple color. I am going for that bordello look - a couple of velvet pillows on a leopard chaise and I am there.
