adina: i looked at some expensive lotions for my face. what is up with "la mer"? it's like 100 dollars an ounce! anyhoo, genevieve sent me a nice email and recommended i use oil of olay. her mom and granny have always used it and my mom also uses it. so i got some this weekend - i actually splurged for the fancy "olay total effects" stuff and really like it. "total effects" fights the seven signs of aging:
1. being annoyed with anyone younger than 24
2. not being able to find a freakin' pair of jeans that isn't flared or spandex or double sand-blasted with rhinestones down the side.
3. sometimes falling asleep before saturday night live comes on
4. taking a message for your husband from one of his classmates only to have the classmate ask the next day "who was the old lady that answered the phone?"
5. planning your 10-year high school reunion
6. britney, mandy, shakira, etc.
7. an entire article in "instyle" about thongs. yes, rich, with pictures.
