here are my fav holiday songs. i am not above playing them over and over.
i really like "feliz navidad". so festive, so campy. it also makes you feel like you didn't fail spanish in 11th grade.
"you're a mean one, mr. grinch" performed by thurl ravenscroft. i mean, c'mon, the man's name is "thurl". anyway, i love the grinch song. the best part is when he says "the three words that best describe you are as follows, and i quote, STINK, STANK, STUNK"
i adore "mele kalikimaka" - the hawaiian christmas song. so festive, so campy. it makes you feel like you didn't fail hawaiian in 11th grade.
finally, squirrel nut zipper's jazzy, swingy tune "carolina christmas". how could you not love a song that exclaims "it's a carolina christmas, we'll be chilling in our underwear!"
