Film and Television Rights: Kunitz on his favorite Hopkins Poem

When I first read this poem around 1990, in an overheated classroom on the sleepy campus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I had an uncannily similar experience as Mr. Kunitz did as a young man in 1926, in a Harvard library.
