Art Colony: old skool missive

15th of March
This past fortnight, there have been many changes as of late. I can recall the introduction to a new acquaintance of Biff and mine, that fascinating gentleman and close neighbour L., who didst invite us o'er for carrot-cake. Nor can I overlook my dear friend Robin's meeting with a potential romantic interest, who seems to be a man of much refinement and character. To which I respond with a mighty Huzzah!; a lady of such intelligence and talent should not stoop to date those with insistent imperfections. My distress of past days was put to rest on Monday, due to a communication of some consequence which will allow me to begin work upon tuesday next. I must only aquire the proper attire to be in readiness for it. Although my current abode may be classified as a humble one, I do not doubt that with ardour and determination its state of untidiness may be rendered to a level not entirely disagreeable to myself and others.
I have heard talk of a fete to be thrown in the great metropolis of New York City, one which will feature lively entertainments illuminated by good intellects and good humours. I daresay I would pray attend this event, and there are others whose remonstrance and persuasion adds to my strong wish. How'er, I have pressing engagements as well as pecuniary reasons, which will prevent my presence. However, the fortuitous conjunction of robots will spell a merry holiday for those fortunates with the time and opportunity to visit.
