When you have dyed, damaged hair, one of the things that happens is that your hair will rapidly lighten if you are in the sun. This is happening to me. I mean, my hair is in such bad condition that it's only a little bit stronger than paper. (Not that I'm a blond now. It's just that my dyed fire red hair is now reddish brown with blondish highlights. Red is a very hard color to maintain I've found).
