the nation
Do you all read the nation?
It is a thoughtful, awesome-to-read NY-based publication. t I am not sure what their exact policy for advertising is, but I think it is something to do with not running on advertising money that would affect their editorial freedom. From their site: The Nation will not be the organ of any party, sect, or body. It will, on the contrary, make an earnest effort to bring to the discussion of political and social questions a really critical spirit, and to wage war upon the vices of violence, exaggeration, and misrepresentation by which so much of the political writing of the day is marred. -- from The ation's founding prospectus, 1878 .
In other words, it is good, clean, thought-provoking journalism.
My friend Jonah is lucky and smart enough to be one of their interns.

Click here to read an article he wrote about the erosion of the Roe Vs. Wade decision in the states and what you can do if you want to take a stand for pro-choice.

If this keeps on happening, you 'mericans all gonna be coming to pinko Canada for your abortions, marijuana, and same-sex marriages. We'll be like an egalitarian Tijuana.
