no one knows what happened yet. But I was sitting at work and suddenly the power went out. And I had to walk down 36 flights of stairs (wobbly legs). A bike courrier whizzed by and shouted: "This is fuckign Robinson Caruso!" No traffic lights. No one to direct traffic.I would do it if I had a whistle and actually understood traffic laws. then I saw someone at king and spadina directing traffic. Cars inching by. I walked my bike. Thank God I live downtown. Is anyone trapped in the CN TOWER? I saw a woman all shocked panicky ask another to use her cellphone but the network is down. I am off to Kensington Market to meet up with friends. I have a digital camera and a bicycle and I want to explore!
