Pony: Why I am getting a bad writeup in the book of life

You know, these next 8 days are The Days of Awe. God is watching, as they say. Of course, God is always watching, but for some reason, he choses early fall to keep a special, 10-day watch on all of us. And yes, dear reader, God is JUDGING. So I am trying to be grounded, compassionate and good.

Then why, when seeing my friend's ex on the steps to shul, did I say, with narrowed eyes: "Shana Tova, muthfucka."

I mean, he did break up with her terribly. And I did tell him I was teasing (and mostly I was!). But oy. I can hear those x marks next to my name, my friends. Repent!
