I have nothing interesting to write about these days. Though if i had the gumption, i would write about:
The pending election (will they campaign over xmas? what about those poor Ottawa drones who won't get to go home to family?)
That editors must be grappling with "Paris is burning" as a headline/cliche to be avoided (much like "apres le deluge") in New Orleans.
That the Colbert report might actually suck a little bit.
That Julia is having a hockey show at her gallery with some great local artists, including Matt James, Chris Hutsul and Drew Simmons.
How my father's last email ended with: "This little lesson brought to you with much love and my hope that you will continue to love and cherish your Jewish heritage."
That I have stopped getting angry at the noisy club next door, even though their parties have been getting later and later.
That I called a bunch of people over to my desk to watch a video of Jake Gyllenhall's naked bum (and I don't even find him attractive), in perverse reaction to the "sensitive workplace" initiative.
Why don't you send me on a trip and I will write real stories.
