Pony: The pool
8.2.2006

A short story about going to the pool after work:

I went to the pool near chinatown yesterday. Cold water is the perfect remedy to a heatwave
Just a concrete deck and a long pool and weightlessness for a big belly.

Two girls wanted to play volleyball, but it was lane swim. "I didn't know there were rules in this pool. I am from Newmarket"

Abi, who is aiming for 100 lengths but had had 2 glasses of wine, said: "It is probably more fun in Newmarket. Here in Toronto we swim in straight lines!"
