I have not been too good at keeping photographic evidence of my expanding girth, but I would like to tell you that I have organized a set in flickr of what evidence there is "the bump". If you are into that sort of thing.
Suddenly my LARGE maternity jeans no longer fit around my belly. i mean, the rest of the jeans fit, but the elastic waist is squishing the baby. Goodbye, nasty maternity jeans. Viva overalls. Even if they kinda make me look like a knob.
Hey, Kiff and I will be moving soon to a new, bigger place. We just told our landlords (gave them only one month notice) and they were so so great about it. We would love to find someone nice to take our place, so leave a message to let me know if you are interested. It is a charming place with laundry and a dishwasher and a backyard. Its only drawback is the occasional noisy evening and soccer frenzy (improved since I spoke with the club owner last week).
Yesterday I was on cbc radio talking about getting HIV/AIDS tests. Not sure how long this link will work, but give it a listen. I was lucky to be on with Buffy, who is fearsomely articulate (esp at 7:30 am!). It was so good to go back there and see some lovely folks I used to work with.
Yesterday was also a big day for winning stuff. I won a gift basket through the work raffle (a funny assortment of toiletries), and then kiff got called from BabiesRUS (where we registered) and was told we won a gift basket (nursing pillow, bottles, washcloths). Funny coincidence.
