Get the first four ingredients on the boil, then add the rest when the cabbage is almost tender. Hmmm. It should be a pile of glistening cabbage and beans languishing in a sea of light broth. I reckon this would be nice with soda bread but we didn't have any. We enjoyed Os Mutantes' s/t & Mutantes' s/t (Omplatten) albums along with this soup.
